Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of www.szoriental.com. By using the site you accept them. They do not govern any sale — a sale requires a separate written agreement, quotation and, where applicable, a quality agreement.
1. Scope
These terms apply to every page of this website and to the AI assistant embedded in it. Where a specific page carries its own notice — the privacy policy, or a quotation — that notice governs its subject matter and prevails over these terms.
2. Professional audience only
This site addresses pharmaceutical manufacturers, regulatory affairs professionals, qualified traders and laboratories. It does not address consumers or patients. We supply active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates and reference standards for manufacturing, formulation and analytical use. We do not sell medicinal products to the public, and no content here may be relied on for self-medication or for treating any condition.
3. Information, not an offer
Product listings, specifications, registration status and photographs are provided for information. They are not an offer capable of acceptance and do not fix a price. In particular:
- Prices are never published here. Every price is quoted individually against quantity, specification, packaging and destination.
- Registration status shown for a product (for example US-DMF, EDMF/ASMF, CEP or Written Confirmation) states what documentation exists; it is not a promise that a particular market access route will succeed for your product.
- Manufacturing processes, in-house methods and customer identities are not disclosed on this site, and the AI assistant is configured to refuse such questions.
4. CAS is the product identity
The same molecule is sold under many names — INN, pharmacopoeial monograph titles, trade names, and different salt forms with different CAS numbers. To avoid the wrong substance being supplied against a matching-looking name, every product on this site is identified by its CAS number, and that number governs over the name. If your specification quotes a different CAS number from ours, tell us before ordering rather than assuming the names match. The assistant validates every CAS number it outputs against its check digit and will not return a number that fails; a number you supply is taken as authoritative for your request.
Reference standards and impurities are likewise tied to the parent substance they relate to, so a standard is never offered detached from the molecule it characterises.
5. Documentation
Certificates of analysis, safety data sheets, specifications, DMF and EDMF/ASMF documents, CEPs, Written Confirmations and stability data are supplied on request and, for anything beyond a CoA or SDS, under a non-disclosure agreement. Closed-part documents are released only to the authority you nominate, by the procedure you and we agree. Nothing on this site constitutes delivery of any document.
6. Export control and trade compliance
You are responsible for confirming that importing and using our product is lawful in your country before you order. Specifically:
- You hold every import licence, authorisation, quota or permit your jurisdiction requires for the substance, quantity and use concerned.
- The product will not be re-exported, diverted or used in breach of any applicable export control, sanctions or end-use restriction.
- You will provide the end-use statement, customer declaration or undertaking we ask for, and you understand that we may decline or cancel an order where that documentation is not provided or cannot be verified.
- You are not located in, or acting for a party in, a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, and you are not a sanctioned or denied party.
Online services on this site are unavailable from certain jurisdictions for regulatory reasons; if you see a regional notice instead of the catalogue, that is the reason, and enquiries can still be made by direct email.
7. Scheduled precursors
Some substances in our range are scheduled drug precursors and carry licensing duties on both sides of the transaction. From our catalogue these include:
| Substance | Chinese classification | EU classification |
|---|---|---|
Pseudoephedrine sulfate CAS 7460-12-0 | Category I precursor (pharmaceutical-type) | Category 1, Annex I of Reg. (EC) 273/2004 (salts included); external trade under Reg. (EC) 111/2005 |
DL-Methylephedrine HCL CAS 18760-80-0 | Category I precursor (pharmaceutical-type) | Subject to Chinese export control; EU classification to be confirmed per destination and salt form |
Regulations on the Administration of Precursor Chemicals (State Council Decree No.445), Category I | Regulation (EC) No 273/2004 (intra-EU) and No 111/2005 (external trade)
For such substances we may require evidence of your licence or registration, a signed customer declaration in the prescribed form, and end-use information before shipping, and we keep the records that regulation requires. Where an EU operator buys a Category 1 precursor, supply is permitted only to a licence holder.
8. Intellectual property
The text, photographs, drawings, layout and the AI assistant's configuration on this site are ours or licensed to us. You may download and print pages for your own internal evaluation and to prepare a regulatory submission. You may not republish the site's content, resell it, present it as your own, scrape it to build a competing catalogue, or remove the identification of its source. Product and company names are used descriptively; third-party marks remain the property of their owners. The typeface used on this site is Inter, licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, a copy of which we distribute with the font files.
9. No warranty on site content
We take care that what we publish is accurate at the time of writing, but specifications, pharmacopoeial monographs, registration status and availability change. The authoritative statement for a specific supply is the specification and CoA issued with the batch, and the written agreement between us. Site content is provided as-is, without warranty as to completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or continuity of availability. We may change or withdraw any page without notice.
10. Liability
Our liability for damage arising from your use of this website is limited to intent and gross negligence, except where a statutory duty of a mandatory nature applies (for example under product liability law or for injury to life, body or health). This limitation does not affect liability agreed in a supply contract, quality agreement or NDA between us, which governs the transaction itself.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute arising from your use of this site are governed as stated below. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence are not displaced by that choice, though as a business-to-business supplier we do not contract with consumers through this site.
- Governing law and venue
- Laws of the People's Republic of China; disputes subject to the jurisdiction of the competent people's courts in Shenzhen
12. Severability
If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder continues in force, and the invalid provision is replaced by one that comes closest to what the parties intended. The same applies to any gap in these terms.
13. Changes
We may update these terms when the site, the law or our documentation practice changes. The version in force is the one published here, and its date appears at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
